Internship Annotated Bibliography
My internship project has developed into the creation of an Internet Safety Website for the Colleton County School District. In addition to articles and links to important information about Internet Safety and Cyberbullying, the website includes a BookBuilder book about Cyberbullying for parents, videos, and lessons. The annotated bibliography references the articles, resources, articles, and documents that informed the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases of my instructional design under the ADDIE model. Moreover, some of the items include articles and research that provide background and support for my instructional philosophy - focusing on Adult Learner Theory, Multimedia Cognitive Theory, and Universal Design for Learning, and resources that further informed the content and analysis process. I have identified the three specified instructional theories for this project because the instruction provided on the website is focused on a parent audience and has required creation or adaptation of Internet Safety curricula for children to instruction appropriate for adults. Additionally, at the request of the school district, the content which is traditionally taught in person, is adapted for online self-paced instruction and/or television broadcast. The bibliography focuses on providing useful content for parents with school aged children, ensuring relevance of content for those learners, and proper analysis of learners. The bibliography is in list format at the bottom of the page and in slideshow format directly below.
